NEW WAVE - NOORD is a skate session for queer and women skateboarders, beginners and advanced, taking place twice a month. It is not about the best tricks, but about being able to be yourself, to make new friends and to have fun in the skatepark.
No skate experience? No problem! We’re happy to teach you the basic ins- and outs of skateboarding before you head off into the park. Besides that, we have a couple of free loaner boards and helmets available, let us know if you need help!
NEW WAVE works towards inclusivity, diversity and representative leadership in and outside of skateboarding. The events are meant to create a LGBTQIA+ friendly skateboarding space. Don't agree? Don't come in. We don't accept sexism, racism, trans- and queerphobia.
