New wave skate event; women and queer only, in Breda’s indoor skatepark: PIER 15. No board? No problem! We can bring extra skateboards and protective gear if you need it.

Not a skater? You’re always welcome to join skate- or creative workshops, or simply to hang out.

NEW WAVE is a series of open skate nights meant for queer people and women, beginners to advanced. We stand for empowering the underrepresented and overlooked in skateboarding and society and will always put this first. This place is not about the best tricks, but about being able to be yourself and to have fun in the skatepark. Respect each other and above all: enjoy skateboarding.

Women Skate the World works towards inclusivity, diversity and representative leadership in and outside of skateboarding. Don't agree? Don't come in. We don't accept sexism, racism, trans- and queerphobia.
