COVID-19 Policy
Because of continuing covid-19 infections and restrictions, we ask participants to register ahead of the event by purchasing any ticket [or by sending an email]. This way we can keep sight of the number of visitors, and whether we have to do any adjustments to ensure everyone can clean up safely. In addition to restrictions by the Dutch government, we want to ask you to respect the common rules below.
Avoid group formations at the meeting point, bins and any seats. There is more than enough space and there are over 15 rubbish bins around the skatepark and on the island.
Keep 1.5 meters distance of people that don’t belong to your household.
Walk with 2 people most, unless you’re one household or younger than 18.
Listen to directions of Women Skate the World volunteers. They will walk around to help you and will make keep an eye on covid-19 restrictions.
Masks aren’t compulsory since the activity is outside, however, respect other people if they choose to wear a mask, or when they ask you to keep a distance. We want this to be a fun activity for anyone, regardless of your personal opinion on masks.
Feel free to make use of our hygienic supplies to wash your hands, any tools or other things that require cleaning.
Ahead of the cleanup session, you will receive an email with all the information that’s needed, including the most recent version of covid-19 restrictions and policies. If any new covid-19 restrictions would mean that we have to cancel the activity, we will send an email to all registered participants offering the choice of refunding any money in case they donated.
Together we can make sure that this activity is fun for anyone!
