Reopening Party:
We started april with a lovely party to celebrate the offical reopening of the skatepark after forcefully being closed for 4,5 months due to a power outage. The party was our way to welcome back our community and do some fundraising for the organization to keep the park open. Thanks to our volunteers we have been able to provide some awesome activities and raise over 500,-. We were also happy to hand out some prizes to the attending skaters. Skate News:
At the 23rd of march our own freestyle queen Cornely competed in the DFSO in Amersfoort. Next to a bunch of other freestyle legends she managed to get in two really good runs. Unfortunately she didn't get in the top three due to some impressive competition, but still an amazing achievement!
Trick of the month: SHUVIT
It's injury season! This month not one but two people got hurt doing a shuvit.
Our volunteer Ollie broke their fibula and skateboarding-student Felix broke her hand trying to land on his board. We hope both of you will get well soon!
