Dear Friends of Women Skate the World,
From April onwards Women Skate the World will own an indoor facility in Amsterdam Southeast and we couldn’t be happier! Having our own facility provides us with the opportunity to create a safe and inclusive space, where everybody feels welcome to be themselves. This location enables us to host skateboarding activities in addition to creative and educational workshops, it’s the perfect place to develop our lesson programs, and to invite te community. And last but not least, we won’t have to fear the rain anymore!
In order to make this project a succes, we are reaching out to ask for your help. We started a crowdfunding campaign to cover the most essential expenses that come with starting up programs, and making sure the location is suited to our needs. Every contribution is greatly appreciated, we will be eternally thankful!
Our first open day will take place on April 18th, an invitation for this event will follow soon!
